Privacy Policy
Last updated October 30, 2026Arcadia ("the app", "the site") is operated by Murray IT Stack, LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Arcadia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use the Arcadia app and playarcadia.app, how advertising and cookies work, and the choices you have. Questions or requests: social@playarcadia.app.
What we collect
| Data | Why | Who |
|---|---|---|
| Age range (under 13, 13–17, 18+), derived from the birth year you pick. We never store the birth year. | Show age-appropriate games; turn off email sign-in, purchases and all ads for under-13s. | Stays on your device. |
| Guest account ID (a random identifier and secret created by our server) | Back up your game progress to the cloud without any personal information. | Everyone, including under-13s. |
| Game progress: high scores, levels, unlocks, settings, play-chip balances, and the app's credit balance and credit history | Cloud save, so progress survives reinstalling or switching devices; preventing credit fraud. | Everyone with cloud save. |
| Email address (optional) | Only to send you a one-time sign-in code and restore your account on a new device. No marketing. | 13+ only. We never ask under-13s for an email. |
| Apple ID identifier (optional, Sign in with Apple; may include a private relay email) | Sign-in and account recovery. | 13+ only. |
| Purchase records (product, transaction ID) via Apple and our payment processor (RevenueCat), where purchases are offered in the iOS app | Deliver credits you buy and handle refunds. We never see your card details. | 13+ only. |
| Technical data: IP address and request logs, kept briefly | Security and rate limiting (stopping abuse). | Everyone. |
Advertising
Arcadia is free to play. To pay for it, players aged 13 and over may be shown two kinds of ads on playarcadia.app: rewarded ads that you choose to watch (for example to get a few free credits, or to refill free play chips in our 18+ casino-style games) and full-screen ads at natural breaks, such as between levels. We limit how often full-screen ads appear and never show them in the middle of play.
These ads are provided by Google (Google AdSense / H5 Games Ads). Google and its advertising partners use cookies, device identifiers and similar technologies, and receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page or game you are on, and how you interact with an ad, in order to choose, show, measure and protect ads.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org.
- To learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Teens (13–17): ad requests are marked as being for a user under the age of consent, so ads are not personalized and Google limits the data it processes. Under 13: no ads at all (see Children below).
Your ad choices. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google's certified consent message asks for your consent before personalized ads are used, and you can change your choice later. If you live in a US state with a privacy law (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas or Virginia), a "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option is available. See Ad choices for how to use these, and how to turn off personalization on your device.
The iOS app does not use this web ad technology. Ads in the iOS app, if any, use Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt and are non-personalized unless you allow tracking.
Cookies and local storage
We do not set our own tracking or advertising cookies. The app uses your browser's local storage to remember your age range, game saves, settings, credit balance and sign-in session; clearing site data removes them. When ads are shown to players 13 and over, Google and its partners may set or read their own cookies and identifiers as described above; you can block or delete them in your browser settings (this may limit ads or sign-in). The ad technology is never loaded for players who say they are under 13.
Children
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you tell us you are under 13, or you open a child profile, we do not ask for or collect your email, Apple ID or contact information, show no ads, load no advertising or tracking code, and offer no purchases (except parent-gated one-time unlocks in the iOS app). Under-13 progress is backed up only under a random guest ID that is not linked to you. We do not use children's data for advertising, profiling or sale, and we do not knowingly allow children to share personal information with others.
Our age check is a neutral birth-year question stored only as an age range on the device. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has used the app as an older player, tell us at social@playarcadia.app and we will delete the data we hold; you can also reset the age range by clearing site data and re-answering the question. A parent can ask us to review or delete a child's data by emailing us with the guest ID shown in Profile, or turn off cloud save by deleting the app.
Family accounts and child profiles
A parent or guardian (18+) can create an account with their own email address and add up to 6 child profiles. A child profile contains only a nickname and a picture chosen from a preset list (please do not use a real full name), plus the child's game progress, rewards and learning progress. We never ask a child for an email address, Apple ID, birthday or any other contact information, and child profiles show no ads and have no purchases. The parent account owns every child profile: the parent opens the profile on each device, can rename it, and can delete it and all of its data at any time in Profile > Family profiles (or delete the whole account). Voice features in Learning Mode process audio on the device and do not upload it. Because the parent confirms they are the child's parent or guardian and we only collect data needed to run the game (support for internal operations), we do not use child data for advertising, profiling or sale.
Play chips and credits
Casino-style games (18+) use free play chips only. Chips have no cash value, cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for credits, money or prizes. Rewards from watching ads exist only inside Arcadia and have no value outside it.
How we store and share data
Data is stored with Cloudflare (our hosting and database provider) in the United States and other countries where it operates. Sign-in emails are sent through our email provider. We do not sell personal information for money. We share it only with these service providers, with Google as described under Advertising (players 13+ only, when ads are on), when required by law, or to protect our users and service.
How long we keep it
Account and save data are kept while your account is active. Accounts with no activity for 24 months may be deleted. Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes; security logs are kept for up to 30 days. Data held by Google is governed by Google's own policies.
Your choices and rights
You can sign out at any time in Profile. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your account and data by emailing social@playarcadia.app. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights:
- US states (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Virginia): to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising. Use the "Do Not Sell or Share" option described in Ad choices or email us. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to complain to your data protection authority. Our legal bases are contract (running your account), legitimate interests (security) and consent (personalized advertising).
Security
Connections are encrypted (HTTPS). We store only hashes of sign-in secrets and codes, limit sign-in attempts, and verify credits on our servers.
Changes
We'll update this page and the date above when this policy changes, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
